(BM) Following the success of the World Championship trophies BMCO was commissioned with the creation of the European Championship trophies too. However, the European Volleyball Federation (CEV) had another approach than the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), asking for more abstract trophies. While the volleyball trophy shows seven players, the beach volleyball trophy only represents the team of two. The trophies are PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coated to achieve the vibrant surface.
